NEW AUDIO | KNOWING HOW TO ASK
Insights Into the Four Sons
The four sons of the Passover seder have attained almost iconic status in Judaism, and for good reason: There’s so much to learn from them. Why is “knowing how to ask” so important? Which is more essential: uncompromising, non-negotiable dedication to Judaism…or the enthusiasm and excitement we hope we’ll enjoy in our mitzvot? Time 21:47

Why Bais Chana?

For women who want to make the most of the short time they can take away from family, school, work and their myriad responsibilities, we’ve got an intense, full-immersion study retreat that far exceeds the potency of any other Jewish study program for women. Make sure to bring a healthy dose of curiosity and an open mind, but please leave your preconceptions about Judaism home. We’ll look at life through the lens of Kabbalah and Chassidic teachings – from our beliefs, prayers, texts and mitzvot to our notions of womanhood, Jewish spirituality, G-d, true love, prayer, the chosen people, the Jewish psyche, Torah, Jewish marriage, the body-soul connection, the Matriarchs, Jewish identity, destiny and more. It’s all open for discussion in the non-judgmental, intellectually stimulating, inclusive environment we call Bais Chana.

Surprise yourself.

This year, set aside time to join us on one of Bais Chana’s ten retreats across the US and Israel. Share the experience with Jewish women of all ages, from all over the world and from every walk of life, and study with the most gifted educators around, headlined by Rabbi Manis Friedman. One caveat: You may not become a scholar at Bais Chana, but you’ll definitely leave with a more profound appreciation of your identity – as a Jew and as a woman.
